Advertisers are more focused on social class clarification now they sell a brand so they try get to know their audience more. What psychographic group or groups do  YOU  belong in? Think about your own interests and lifestyle and explain your decision. Remember, you may fit into two or three different groups! Camera Moving And Editing

3 Different camera movements 1) Horizontal turn left or right. The director chose this to introduce new characters. They did it to emphasise introductions slowly and powerfully. 2) crane The director might of chose this to view the whole scene without doing too much cuts 3)Tilt movement helps it make us view the person climbing up or in this case flying up. 2 aspects of editing 1)cut the directer did this to help show different scenes quickly. 2) Melting cut, this shows 2 different scene almost merging together from one into another. 2 shots or angles When the dog jumps up it shows hes surrounded and trapped and has no escape. The author did this by cornering the main character and a dog jumping onto the fence. The other scene is when he jumps through the ceiling. This is impact as the first one made the people upstairs jump and the second one broke through the ceiling making a humongous impact.

Camerawork blog tasks

Close camera shot: gives dramatic effect/ adds more suspense when something happens. Long Camera  shot: Gives more space for scenery and shows the character in the scene so u know what hes doing while showing the setting at the same time The  over the shoulder shot: This shot shows us that the president was doing as we see the back of her head so we know its her. This is important as we can tell shes doing something important to help the rest Camera angles:  A camera angle used in this series was a low camera angle. This makes the character more intimidating and fearsome. This is important as dramatic scenes and fights have a much larger impact as they are from a lower angle which makes them seem stronger, bigger and more intimating. Mise En Scene: The cave like hideout they were in shows us that they are a organised group of people. This also shows us they aren't playing around as they have a base.  The costume supports this as they are wearing professional clothes. This is also

Blog feedback and learner response

WWW: It’s great that your blog is set up and you’ve posted all the work so far – this is a really positive sign! I like some of your answers to the first 10 questions and we will definitely be learning to edit later in the course. Your fruit bowl also looks fantastic – through I’m not sure what palette it is for? A bit of text here would really help.   EBI: The biggest area to work on is your attention to detail. If you look at your first 10 questions, you have misread a couple of them so your answer doesn’t really make sense. Similarly, on your Doctor Who answer you miss out the word ‘female’ – which completely changes the point you are making. Finally, on your chosen advert for denotation and connotation I think you’ve missed the key message of the advert – it’s suggesting that the product makes the audience alert and productive so they get all of their work done. Reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What

Stranger Things

Stranger Things Trailer               costume: The costume of the scientist shows us that the start was based in a lab and the scientist got chased by a monster so we can infer it was based on a experiment gone wrong. The other characters are wearing really old clothes so we can infer it was based in the 80s. lighting: The lights flickering infers that something dangerous/ scary is going to happen and this was proven when the screen went black and we hear noises of someone/something eating someone. Also the fact that the lights flickering shows something evil is coming should be mentioned. props: The gun that the kid was trying to use shows us hes a fast thinker and is brave for standing up to something about to eat him. Also the props of the board game they were playing shows that they are kids with no responsibility living a nice loving life. Extention:  Hair and the clothing show us that it was set in the 80s and shows us that it isnt duri
